Rapid Responder Training - Palo Alto

  • Congregation Etz Chayim 4161 Alma Street Palo Alto, CA, 94306 United States (map)

Join Congregation Etz Chayim, PACT: People Acting in Community Together, and the Rapid Response Network of Santa Clara County to learn how you can become a rapid responder to protect our community! The Rapid Response Network aims to expand the community's capacity to monitor and document ICE operations if Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) comes to your work, home or a family member is detained.

We need your help to engage and train many more community volunteers across Santa Clara County! Please invite others to attend to help us build the Rapid Response Network. We need more volunteers in Sunnyvale! Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.

The Rapid Response Network in Santa Clara County is a community defense project that protects immigrant families from deportation and to provide them with accompaniment support.

During this training you will learn:

  • How the Rapid Response Network functions

  • How to do legal observation during ICE operations

  • How we provide support to detained immigrants and their families

  • And most importantly, about the role YOU can play!
